River Road Covered Bridge

Pittsburg, NH
The northern most covered bridge
that still crosses the Connecticut River
is the River Road Covered Bridge.
Vehicles and people no longer use
this covered bridge, but you can stand
on it and think of the horse
and buggy days or dream of the large
salmon that got away.

Lost Treasures:
Originally we had ten covered bridges in our area. Of those ten covered bridges, only two are now constantly in use, the Columbia Bridge and the Happy Corner Bridge.
