DeBanville's General Store, (the original store) was built in 1917 as a small saloon and supply house catering to the logging community in Bloomfield, Vermont... Through the years the store managed to stay in the DeBanville family until the year 2000 when health reasons forced Anthony and Rose to retire.  Longtime friends of the DeBanvilles, Sherry and Darlene Belknap, bought the store and brought it back to life, remodeled it, retaining the same friendly atmosphere the DeBanville's had created.
